by working with BiG sign fx, and/or any of it’s subsidiaries, you are agreeing to the following terms of service:

 

Customer Supplied Materials

If needed and possible we will print on customer supplied materials, however because these materials are not owned by us and are not stock materials of ours we are unable to warranty any work done on them, no matter what the material is. Because of it not being one of our controlled materials we will have no way of knowing how it will act when prepping and printing/engraving. The payment for the job to be done is for the work of prepping and printing not for the finished product, if we decided against running it we will offer a refund, but if it has been ran and does not meet your expectations there is nothing we can do other than try again.

 

Deposits

A 50% deposit (or 100% on smaller jobs) is required for all installations to hold your spot on our calendar, your day(s) will not be saved until the deposit is made and is subject to change until saved. All deposits are non-refundable due to them being used to order materials and other necessary tools to complete your project, as well as the holding the spot on the calendar. Projects that need to be rescheduled can do so without losing the deposit as long as reasonable time is given. Projects that are canceled will not have the deposit refunded. If the scope of the project is changed then another deposit may be required (ie: if the vinyl selection of a color change wrap is changed another deposit will be required to cover the cost of the new material).

A 50% deposit may also be required for specific jobs that are not installed, these deposits are also non-refundable for any reason.

 

Quality of Paint Pre/Post Wrap

We are not an autobody shop and do no work on vehicle paint, the quality of paint on your vehicle is completely out of our hands. We are professional graphic installers, we install and remove graphics in the necessary way to ensure that there is no damage to your vehicle. If you install our graphics or remove our graphics we cannot warranty your work and we cannot control any damage to your vehicle. If your vehicle or it’s paint is not high quality there is a chance that it can be damaged when graphics are removed by us, and again there is nothing we can do about that.

 

Expected Vehicle Prep

We expect that all vehicles that are dropped off for installations are clean and dry. If there are other things that need to be done prior to install such as old graphic removal, those will need to be discussed prior to the scheduled install date. If the vehicle is dropped off and is not prepped for install (not clean, old graphics not removed, etc.) and no prior agreement was made, we will clean and prep the vehicle for our hourly shop rate, and that charge will need to be paid when the vehicle is picked up. We do not contact you with an estimated cost or to discuss options because our schedule doesn’t allow for the extra time.

We do not do body work of any kind, if your vehicle is brought in with chips, burrs, dents, scratches, peeling, etc. of any kind we will either: wrap over it if doing so will not cause the install to fail, or cancel the install if wrapping it would cause the install to fail.

It is up to you to have all prep work done and deliver the vehicle to us “wrap ready”.

 

Defects on Wrap Surface

Wraps are not designed to hide defects on vehicles and/or other surfaces, and in most cases the application of a vinyl wrap will actually accentuate defects such as scratches, chips, dents, etc. If there are defect on the surface of the wrap we will still wrap over it unless doing so will cause the wrap to fail. Rock chips, metal burrs, etc. can cause it to look like there is debris under the wrap but wont cause it to fail, however peeling paint or clear coats will cause a wrap to fail and so we will not wrap over it.

We do not warranty installs issues if they are caused by defect on the surface, if you are concerned about the quality of the surface you are having wrapped we recommend taking it to a specialist to ensure it is sanded and finished as we do not offer those services.

 

Damage to Personal Property While at Our Shop

If you leave anything of yours at our shop for a job (such as a vehicle, water bottle, sheet material, etc.) it will be treated with care and integrity. That being stated somethings can happen while it is under our care; if your property is damaged during standard practice treatment (such as paint coming off during installation or removal, or your product gets burnt/stained during engraving) we will not cover the damage.

If your vehicle is damaged while in our parking lot it will be subject to the damager’s insurance. For vehicles inside of our shop, we are fully insured and covered.

 

Use of Copyright Images/Assets

Obtaining the rights/licensing to use copyrighted images, logos, assets, terms, phrases, etc. is fully the responsibility of the person/group placing the order with us. We work with so many brands that in turn work with so many brands that it would be impossible for us to verify the rights for every print we produce. If you do not have the rights to use an asset we request that you do not send in an order for us to print it. If there is any legal repercussions due to your right/license not being valid or not being obtained (along with any other reason) you are agreeing to take full responsibility for not only breaking the trademark/copyright of another company but also breaking our terms in the process. By taking responsibility you also agree to repay any and all legal fees, if any, paid by our company.

 

Expected Privacy of Projects/Jobs

We reserve the right to use any/all projects that go through our facility for marketing or advertising purposes, as well as use the logos of clients to advertise/market ourselves. This goes for all clients and all projects unless there is an agreement made before the project goes through. We do our best to try and be as respectful as possible to avoid posting images and/or information about upcoming promotions or events that have not become public knowledge yet. If you are needing a project done that needs to be kept private, talk to us before it is sent in and we will make sure that photos, videos, or any other information is not shared.

 

Reschedule Policy

We allow install jobs to be rescheduled up to 5 business days before the install date, if ample time is given we will reschedule your install to a future available date that works for you. If you reschedule a install job after the cut off time we will have to invoice out labor again to get your back on our calendar.

 

Installation Cancelation

If you want to cancel your install we can do so if ample time is given, we are able to cancel everything other than the work that has been done up to that point, meaning we can not cancel the cost of materials ordered/used or the labor for prepping said materials.

 

Reprint Warranty

We stand by all of our work with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, meaning that if we mess something up or the print quality is not to your standards we will fix it every time, as long as it falls under our warranty (ie: customer supplied materials are not covered). If we do reprint your job you cannot make any changes to it; new art or materials/finishing will be considered a new job and result in a new invoice. There are things that fall outside of our control and/or cannot be warrantied: we cannot warranty colors (if colors are important we recommend getting press proofs), we cannot warranty art quality on low quality images being sent to us, we cannot warranty spelling errors on text that we did not type out or on typos that were approved in the art proof process.

For a job to qualify for a warranty reprint, you must contact us within 10 days of receiving your original job.
All products being replaced must be returned to us to qualify for a 100% warranty.

 

Refund Policy

Because of the custom nature of our work we do not typically refund products, we believe it making it right over canceling. We typically replace any jobs that are not up to standard. However if a solution can not be found we will refund certain projects, this is done on a per-project basis and the terms will depend on various factors.

 

Order Changes on Sourced Products

There are many applications where we need to order in parts or products to fulfill orders such as custom trophies, awards, and more. If you need to make changes to styles, quantities, or anything else that would affect what would be ordered we would need to know before the materials/part have been put on order otherwise we will charge for the original parts and any additional parts. If any parts or the entire project is canceled after the ordering has been done and refund will not be issued.

 

Pick Up Time Frame

All projects that have been completed and are waiting to be picked up are stored in our customer pick up room until a representative comes to pick them up. Due to the amount of projects going through our facility we are unable to store completed projects for extended periods of time If a project is left at our facility for over 30 days, without a previous arrangement, it will be discarded. If you want your project after it has been discarded we can remake it, though it will be considered a new project and be billed as such.

 

Bounced Checks

Payments made by check that bounce will be subject to additional fees to cover both the bounced check fee as well as additional fees for time and resources spent resolving the payment issue.
